Arendsnes

On the 4^th of June Arendsnes hosted the Brits branch of the Boeremusiekgilde from North-West. It was a festive atmosphere that started on Friday the 3^rd when people avoid the traffic by staying overnight in our chalets and newly developed caravan park. Braai fires lit up the camp and the smell of freshly braaied steaks swerved over the beautiful bushveld. On Saturday it was the musicians turn to play music from early in the morning. During the day food and refreshment stands catered for all tastes while the goods stands catered for the shopaholics with paintings, clothes and more. The weekend ended on a high note during the dance that started at seven. Chairman Jaco Eckard said “This weekend was a huge success people must keep the date in mind for next year. It will definitely be bigger and better”
